Repairs to the automatic gearbox

Correct diagnosis of defects pointed out by the client is one of the first important steps before moving on to the repair process.

For this, we use specific testers for each car brand. Based on the defect codes, our experience and knowledge gained in multiple specialization courses, we guarantee an accurate diagnosis in order to solve the problem as quickly as possible and at a cost as close as possible to the estimated one.

We repair the 3 main types of automatic gearboxes:

• Planetary gearboxes, e.g. 5-Gtronic, 7-Gtronic (manufactured by Mercedes-Benz), 5HP, 6HP,8HP (manufactured by ZF).
• Continuous variation gearboxes CVT.
• DSG gearboxes (with double clutch)

Planetary gearboxes usually require the replacement of the following parts:

• Repair gasket set
• Friction plates set
• Cylindrical bearings set
• Pistons set
• Converter (new or reconditioned)
• Oil filter

The CVT gearboxes usually require the replacement of the following parts:

• Transmission belt
• Speed changers
• Friction plates
• Full clutch set
• Oil filter

• Clutch set
• Mechatronics
